Upload speed increase??

I've had around 1690 Mbps upload for ages and ages and over last couple of tests/days this has gone up to around 6500 Mbps. Probably me who has missed some announcement somewhere is it?
Not a big deal really - just wondering.

Two things
Report your router stats and I assume you mean kbps
Without any other information the only thing I can think of is that you have either been moved from a fixed 2mb line to ADSL2+ or somewhere along the line your profile at the BT end or the Plusnet end was stuck at 2Mb and something has unstuck it Deleted - I missed the bit about upload speed

Yes kbps.. I'm on FFTC. I'm just going by the results from 'mybroadbandspeed'.

Since you are on FTTC then the answer is easy - all the 40/2Mb FTTC connections were progressively increased to 40/10Mb as previously announced http://community.plus.net/8020-fibre-faq/
This speed increase also applies to Fibre Value customers
I have moved this to Broadband and Routers as it isn't feedback
