I have just installed a new PC running windows 7. For emails I use firefox 3.6. On my old PC I used easy password manager but I have been told this does not work with windows 7.

Are you referring to webmail.
If so you don't need Password Manager as Firefox will remember them on it's own

With Firefox I use snixper (search for it in the addon/extensios) it renumbers usernames/passwords etc. I also use xmarks to backup my bookmarks across machines.

Yes, but Firefox does this anyway. Whenever you enter a new password it gives you the option to remember it. You can manage the saved passwords by clicking on Tools - Options - Security, then the Saved Passwords button.
