Yesterday and every night before tonight 25~ to the war server... tonight... get lower pings on dial up.

Sorry to butt in on a thread that is a couple of weeks old.... but to the op, you start a thread complaining about ping after 1 night's gaming, when previously ok??  chillax man, i'm sure even NASA have some net issues occasionally , go see your g/f for 10 mins lol

Sorry to butt in on your thread - but I want to MOAN too.

I used to get great ping times on PlusNet - but in the last month or so they are getting progressively worse. This is not a 1 night moan, but an accumulation of night after night of bad ping times and lots of lag spikes when playing cod2.

Fine - its not a premium service, its just a cheap internet connection - so I shouldn't moan. But hang on - no - I'm actually paying £20+ a month for a premium gaming service - I think I and everyone else with poor pings times has every right to moan.

Smiley al let the graph do my moaning for me  Grin thats on 21cn adsl2+ thoe guys and happens when rate limits are line speed after midnight
http://community.plus.net....msg655369.html#msg655369

i tend to think that latency issue vs the speed issue that the speed issue gets more prioity.
That thread of mine has bein running for a while and only one other 21cn user posted but only seemed to do so because the thread turned into is it exchange related or not. didnt seem they was bothered by the latency at all

when the traffic mangment and plan b config's are there to protect time senstive data i find it werid that speed issue would be given a bigger prioity as PN warn users this may happen under extreme condtions but point out its to make sure gaming, voip is un effected. so when it is effected you would think PN would want to solve the issue thats effecting the under pining of there network and certainly why am here at PN and not some where else

o well turned into a rant in the end any way  Grin

Hi there!

Having massive ping issues with Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising tonight. Call support and they told me it wasn't on the list of priority games yet and that I should run Wireshark. I'm running Windows7 x64 and Wireshark won't work. Any suggestions?
There isn't a problem in the world that can't be solved with gaffa tape, cable ties and explosives

just caught 21cn having a paddy at this time of day instead of midnight.

out of intrest have any of you on 20cn done a ping run at midnight.
yep am nosey  Smiley. just got an idea in my head that the two issues may not be that to disimlar. if you capture one of the gateways throwing a fit at midnight simlar to what thn-ag2 is doing in that thread of mine can you shout up with the gateway name and the capture if possable.

if you do can you post them here to keep 21cn and 20cn apart for the time being

cheers

I just updated my ticket after a month in total waiting for an answer, traffic for COD4 has been very laggy tonight with yet again the same problem. The ping is fine at around 70 then it kicks up to 160 for no reason. I mean is it going to get fixed or what?

Still poo, guess no chance of getting some serious gaming in tonight, past 22:00 so I guess all the 13 yearolds on value have turned on their Hannah Montana downloads for the night.

Night Night.

Really bored of this now.

Hi all,

As I'm sure you're aware, we're still working on this. More capacity went live this morning and there'll be further changes to the configuration on the ellacoyas later on, plus a detailed update from Bob on what's happening will be up on http://status.plus.net later.

We're sorry this is going on as long as it is.
