Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Maybe we could do with a thread in the sticky's for people that think the 21cn PN profile is stuck.
would make it easy then for PN staff to run through those that need setting right each day.
came to my mind as there is at least 3-4 people in the question thread wanting profiles updating yet no PN staff have been near them today.
about time the police called time on jameseh's private lock in at his local Grin
EDIT:
nice one guys
For those customers that may not know about ip profiles have a read here http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/IPprofile.htm
To see what your profiles are check here for your PN profile(you need to be logged in to the plusnet member centre) https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
Here for your BT profile (your login will be somthing like this for BT's   yourPNusername@plusdsl.net   ) http://www.speedtester.bt.com/

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Now that sounds like a good idea  Cheesy
BT profile has been 15000 since Thursday morning, PlusNet profile is still at 8000  Cry
I've tried replying to the open migration ticket, but no response as of yet.

Done, I've just been through the other thread and picked out the ones I could find.

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

My PN line speed is also stuck at 2000 and should be 2500.
A sticky is a good idea or some kind of update as to what the problem is and when it might get fixed to stop repeat posts about the same problem.

Excellent, much better! Busy time of the day and over 14000 on the speed test!  Grin
Many thanks Chris.

Moderator's Post.
Good idea, especially as the automatic update seems not to be working well at the moment.
I've made this topic sticky.

@Shaun
I've updated yours, we hadn't actually set your account from our side on to the trial as we hadn't had full confirmation of the order completing. That's why it didn't auto update at all, I've sorted it out now.

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Hi,
Could someone at PN take a look at my profile please, since the weekends 21CN outage my sync speed is stuck at 2500, and BT's speedtester says that 7500 should be possible which is close to the 6500 which I was managing pretty consistently before the failure on saturday pm.
I have an open call dating from the weekends outage.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Hi James,
I'm taking a look at your account now, however I have to say that we can't directly influence the sync speed.

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Unfortunately I personally can't do a line test (I don't have access to the system for these on 21CN) but I can see our faults team have been looking at your ticket and you have replied saying you are now syncing at 7616.
It looks as though the sync on your line is fluctuating, which is why your profile is down around 3000. If your sync speed stays stable at 7616 for 3 days you'll see the IP Profile increase and with it the speeds you are actually receiving.

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

@looneytunes,
Sorry I'm not sure how I missed your post previously, I've updated your profile speed now to match what BT are saying (13000).

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

the blip in sync rate to 1824 is what has caused the drop in profile. but abit mythed as to why your bt  profile would be at 2000.
what you syncing at now?

Re: Plusnet IP Profiles that are stuck

Im still syncing at 2700+ both bt and plus have me at 1500 now, sent a fault report and all theyn have said is to leave it for 3 days , cant see why they just dont up my profile again as it was stable at 2000
