Re: Product Refresh

It's not an entirely fair comparison though as back on the old portal forums the mods would lock a thread and start a 'part 2' after about 20 pages of replies. If I recall correctly, the thread about the spam sent to hacked e-mail addresses ended up in something like five or six such 'parts', meaning there were probably over 100 pages of replies in total.

Re: Product Refresh

But I'll bet that you're not old enough to remember what this Console Command did:
z eod
Embarrassed
Edit: It was the equivalent of turning the lights out on an IBM Mainframe (System 360/ 370). It shut down the system completely!

Re: Product Refresh

i am old enough but wasn't sufficiently into programming languages to use it - I started with GW-Basic and a dumb terminal which stored data on punch tape and was linked to a dot matrix printer to see what you typed.

Re: Product Refresh

Back on topic - in the FAQ for unlimited it states
Quote
3. How fast is it?
You'll receive the fastest speed your line will support, currently up to 8Mb. Faster ADSL2+ speeds will be available on our broadband products in the future.
Why is this conspicuous by its absence in the Value and Pro FAQ's even though the term "broadband products" is in the plural implying that it will be available on products other than unlimited.

It means that they will introduce a special value / pro account with ADSL2+
It will have a 300 month lock-in period.  Cheesy

Re: Product Refresh

It has been mentioned a couple of times that this is only the first phase of PNs plans.  Anyone care to speculate what the next phase is likely to bring?
