Are new subscribers being set up on Ironport or Postini?

I was just considering signing up a dialup PAYG to check out some things as I will be one of the very last to be moved across (currently scheduled for MON 08/12).

Postini at the moment jelv, I was going to start a new thread about this earlier but didn't get the chance. The projected date for switch-over is next Wednesday (3rd Dec). After this, all new signups will go straight onto IronPort.

How long does it take before ns1.force9.net has DNS records for a newly created account?

How come a newly created account has access to the Mailing Lists tab in MMM?

Creation of new accounts is going wrong at the moment (DNS records are being created on ns1.force9.net but not on ns2.force9.net) - CSC are aware and I think are in the processof spoiling the evening of someone on networks.

However, on ns1 the records are still being created pointed at Postini.  Sad I had hoped to test out how things were going to be with Ironport quarantine.

New accounts are still being set up with Postini Jelv. We've not yet switched new signups across. The plan was to do this today/tomorrow but I haven't seen the change control to cover the work yet so I don't think it's going ahead.

If it has gone ahead then there's a possibility that this is what's causing your DNS issues. Either way, I'll take a look into this tomorrow morning.

That was my suspicion which is why I flagged it up and rang in - I did ask James if he knew what was happening with that.

Bob,

Any chance of the dialup PAYG account I created being moved over to Ironport? (27190076) I only created it because I thought it would be on Ironport.
