Hiya,

It's not going to be possible to move back to LLU after moving to WMBC (ADSL2+), mainly down to cost implications.

We would however, be able to move you onto an ADSL (21CN or Max) product if there were any difficulties.

I asked about my exchange in #13.  Does anyone know what the message means?

Thanks.

@Artmo

I'm not entirely sure what that means either!

It sounds rather like "we can't find the information you're looking for!"

Just checked Samknows.com too and apparently there's no date set for your exchange yet.

Is this change likely to affect my static IP address?

I only ask because I've recently upgraded an account for someone from a residential package to a business package and it changed the IP they will be getting into this trial the week after next I believe and they asked me to check as they use VPN which is important to them.

I told them it shouldn't affect it, am I right?

Oops! sorry could a moderator move this to the correct thread please, forgot where I was.

Post moved to Questions thread as requested. David (spraxyt)

Nope.  There shouldn't be any need to perform a reboot.

Could I ask that we keep this thread for the comparisons only?

Moderator's Note: The post referred to has been moved with this answer to the Questions Thread, so that the final comment no longer applies. David (spraxyt)

Same status here.

Is there a way to know that the change has taken place?

My DMT software shows adslctl version 1.0
ADSL PHY: AnnexA version - A2pB023b.d20e
System Type: 96358GW-16

Yep, it's the Broadband Operations Team.  They do all the provisioning work.

You should hear back from them later on today.

The can probably work it out from your sync speed Wink

If that's not changed, I'd suggest that the order hasn't completed yet.

I was hoping that DMT tool might tell me something about whether I am on ADSL 1 or 2?

The order hasn't completed yet I'm afraid.

From what I've just been told, these will often complete late on night on the provision date.
