FSCS IceSave email considered SPAM

« on 05/11/2008, 11:02 »
A heads up to anyone who is one of the 200,000 people expecting an email from the FSCS about their IceSave accounts.
Good old PostIni is marking them all as SPAM so you will probably have to sign on to WebMail to dig them out.

What would IronPort have done?

Or here for the actual (abbreviated) text of the letter (until the website re-opens next week so that we can get our money back!).

Does anybody have a copy of this email with complete headers that they could PM or email to me?

I've got it at home.  If no-one else has sent it to you by the time I get in from work I'll send you a copy.

The FSCS site is now asking anyone who has NOT had the first email to send them an email, and they will re-send the initial email so the address can be verified.

Does anyone know if this repeat email is still liable to the SPAM-trapped by Postini?

One could also speculate about how the second email will be treated which will contain details of how to logon to reclaim the money!
Or perhaps IronPort will be in by then!!

Has anyone seen any phishing yet pretending to be from FSCS about IceSave? - surely only a matter of time!
