what points where please

« on 25/07/2007, 15:11 »
Before the attack of the Spam I used the free webspacewith the url of my http://username.plus.com.

I sometimes use frontpage so enabled the fronpage extensions and got http://fp.username.plus.com

then I got my shiny free domain name. This appears to point at the same place as http://username.plus.com.

How do I get it to point at the frontpage version?

THanks

You can't directly as the FP server is only supported on your plusnet name.

You need to use a frame redirect - see www.moonphase.plus.com - but first you probably want to put the domain in a sub-directory of you webspace via the domain names control panel on the left. Just select the domain and specify a directory it will be served from then create the directory using an FTP client. You then put a frame redirect index.html page in there to point it to your FP webspace.
