Hi there,

We were in the process of upgrading opur Broadband Phone servers this morning and experienced problems and as such, needed to roll back.

Did you see the planned maintenance we posted about the work to Broadband Phone?

For your refernece, it is here :-

http://usertools.plus.net...us/archive/1185970660.htm

It is unfortunate that it was necessary to roll back - we will be fixing the issues that we came up against this morning and will reattempt as soon as we can!

I do promise you that having a stable Broadband Phone platform is a primary objective of ours and the upgrades we have been carrying out over the last few weeks have seen some real improvements in stability and uptime from where I'm sat.

Yes, I did see that warning with regard to the planned maintenance.  However, it didn't come to mind this morning and I was still revelling in the joys of a reliable service, indeed posted a message to this effect yesterday, when boof, off it went!

I was premature, sorry.

I bet you've put back the server that was removed 3-weeks ago!

Fingers crossed for the next go......

Whatever PlusNet have done, it has made it impossible for me to make outgoing calls.

Using X-Lite, a terrible noise is heard while the line is supposed to be ringing.  Does anybody else have this problem? http://paulbrett.plus.com/tmp/Outgoing.wav

I use a Zyxel P2002 for calls normally, and this isn't working at all (probably doesn't like the noise)

Could you check to see if you can use it using xlite for us?

Same static here with X-Lite. Raising a problem now guys.

Edit: Problem 45343

Another Edit: This should be fixed now. You'll probably need to disconnect and re-register before it's working again though.

Hi ALL my BB phone has never worked whilst had it pluged in I am using a speed touch and was asked via F9 to try x-lite to the same avail I can make outgoing calls but have never been able to recieve incoming calls at all Angry. They just go straight to the BB Sys ANS phone, its been tested over and over and tested again, they do however say it is their end and should be sorted when they upgrade the servers or somthing. Off again all this week-end and still off!

Usually reconnected on a Monday.

I guess PlusNet don't use this service!
