first class fibre upgrade

I have just had my fibre installed ,the contractor from Quinns? could not have been more helpful.
When he arrived he stated he was calling to install the modem on behalf of Open Reach, asked if I had a ISP router to connect to the modem.
He installed a new master socket even moved it by shortening the cable to a more convenient point .
Whole process took about 30-45 minutes.
Having read about the short comings of PNet router I was all set to purchase a better one (Asus RT-N66U)
I am very pleasantly surprised by its wifi functioning,my house is over 100 years old with solid no cavity walls.
On my PC via homeplugs I get around 25 Mbs outside on my deck area with wifi around 15 Mbs.
All in all an excellent start
