hi all, my contract ends on the 30th of October, I,m thinking of switching now as it can take up to 14 days to switch for new line/broadband, my question is if I switch now and the switch completes on lets say the 3rd of nov, that means I only owe 3 days pro rota?
I,m wondering if the switch completes a few days before the 30th of oct lets says 28th of October, how much termination charges am I looking at?
looking to switch to sky, so no need for Mac code, so do I need to give notice still or will my notice be from the day the switch completes?

I suggest you ring up to ask for a MAC anyway - you might be tempted by the offer they make for you to stay.
If you have any deferred charges on the account (e.g. the free router) you will owe the FULL amount even if you leave one day before the year is up.
