Is this the MacBook Air?

January 15th, 2008 at 11:35 by Peter Jackson

Pocket-lint today have published pictures of what unnamed insiders claim to be the ‘big news’ due to be announced in Steve Job’s keynote speech later today.  The blogosphere has been buzzing with rumours of what exactly the ‘Something in the Air’ slogan is all about. Could these pictures really be the rumoured MacBook Air?  We haven’t got too long to wait before we find out.. the Macworld 2008 keynote takes place at 9am PST (that’s 5pm UK time).

Flickr has several photos of the supposed ‘MacBook lite’ device.  the most appealing surely has to be this one.  How lovely does that look?

Looks mighty thin to me. Shame about the OS though.

What do you mean “shame about the OS…”?
You can run whatever you like on it. linux, Mac OS X or if you really must, but I can’t think why. XP and Vista!
