1. For modem

Then either leave it as gateway or select router it shouldn't matter as you're not using its wan port

Connect the switch to the zimma. Connect a lan port of the r7800 to the switch . Make sure that dhcp is disabled on the r7800 ( your previous post showed it enabled )

Sorry you have me confused he mentioned it should be disabled but i had it enabled ????

@OsoPolar  Where is there any confusion, for use as an Wireless Access point as @MisterW has already stated the R7800 should have DHCP disabled. Your previous posts have shown it as enabled which is incorrect.
