Not so, looking at the list of 'affected' models in that report, which is four months old.

It's not that it's four months old, my friend has one of the routers and my neighbor has the BT one, it's that, that exploit has been there over many years and is still being reported.

@Stringwalker

I suggest being a BT product you had concerns about perhaps you should have referred your question to them

I found the following on the BT forum British Telecom WE410443-SA 1.02.12 build02 from last August.

The advise is always to ensure your devices are up to date

Hope this helps

Dan

Re: Wi-Fi routers under attack by botnet malware

Thanks for reply, I believe that's what's being done, I only ask because the Hub One is a BT product and I'm experiencing some pretty bizarre things.
But I will mark as resolved thank you.

Re: Wi-Fi routers under attack by botnet malware

@Stringwalker - the URL to that article suggests it's specific to Arcadyan-manufactured devices. The vendor of the Hub One is Sagemcom, not Arcadyan.
