Hub one hissing

Just upgraded my contract last week mainly as I had outdated router and wanted a new one but have found the last couple days it seems to making hissing noises resetting it seems to fix temporarily but comes back anyone else had this problem

If you look on the router board you will see that it’s a well known problem. Unfortunately all Plusnet will do these days is to suggest that you lose a major feature of the router by switching off the 5GHz band.

Hi there, sorry to see that there's an issue with this. Yes, you may notice from other similar posts that we have advised to try disabling the 5ghz channel in wireless settings to help in case this is an issue. It might also be worth trying a factory reset: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-user-guides/
