My account is closing down

I left Plusnet on the 10th March and have had my final bill and refund which is fine but the other day I cancelled the direct debit  and had a reminder from Plusnet telling me I had and how to set up another one. Has the account closure got "stuck" or something as it still says "account closing" in my account.

@iannewson  I had a similar message when I left Plusnet temporarily a few years ago, as I knew the final bill had already been paid I ignored the e-mail. I seem to recall the member centre said account closing for a long time. I expect the e-mail is some automated response to the direct debit being cancelled which is not intelligent enough to know that the account has been terminated.🙄
