Require 'Proof of Usage' for insurance claim

Hi there.
Pretty much what it says on the tin really. I dropped my phone and smashed the facia on Friday and my insurance provider have asked me for proof of usage to link my phone's IMEI with my number. Could somebody help me out with this please?

I don't know if things have changed recently but this does crop up from time to time.
Hopefully a Plusnet staffer will come along soon and advise.

Hi there,
I'm afraid we're not able to provide you with proof of usage, because we won't have supplied the handset to prove that it's yours, plus that we can't see the IMEI number of your handset in our systems.
