Probably because people have been receiving warnings about the closure since last year and most people have already moved to other suppliers.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Not  exactly the best source of reliable news - especially when you read the article - and some of the other 'news' I found links to in that article - but there again, what can you expect from that source?

As I read somewhere recently:

"Do not look directly into the Sun."

(It added that the Express and Mail shouldn't either …)

Re: Plusnet mobile end of service June 2024

While this forum is probably not the best place to debate the journalistic qualities of the fourth estate, the content of that article seemed pretty accurate to me.

In that mobile customers are being offered EE deals which may not be the best around.

Plusnet are not providing voice services going forward and BT digital voice deals are forthcoming at some point

FWIW I'm of a generation where it was commonplace to be asked in certain job interviews which newspaper you read.

The answer they were looking for was to say you read them all.

Re: Plusnet mobile end of service June 2024

@Protech  Yes, PN customers are being offered EE deals, which can be bettered, but that is understandable given that BT Group would like to keep the customers - EE and Plusnet are merely BT brands.

The Plusnet brand in BT Consumer Division is seen as the 'bargain basement' internet-only brand, so will not be offering bell and whistle additions, such as a VoIP service.
