I telephoned from my mobile this afternoon to request my PAC code.
The signal level in this area is poor and the call kept breaking up. We managed to get past the security questions and I was told that I would receive the PAC code by email or text in around 2 hours. Now that 6 hours or so have passed and I still have no PAC code, what is the next step? Just how long does it take to get this information to me?

Over 18 hours now, no email, no text message and no response on this forum.
Obviously no-one cares.
Looks like an escalation to Ofcom on Monday morning.

I had to telephone again late this morning and luckily spoke to the same person that I spoke to yesterday. I was assured that the email had been done yesterday but I never got it. While talking on the phone the mobile received a text message and there was the Pac. All now sorted.
Thank you @Gandalf for your offer of help but mere mortals have managed to triumph without the intervention of your magical powers.
