How does porting work? I am struggling!!

Good afternoon,

I completed a PAC code with Plusnet on Sunday (2 days ago). I received an email advising that it would take 1 working day (so I assume today).

My old phone no longer works, however my new Plusnet sim is still not showing as the new number. I have tried ringing my phone number and there isn't even a dialing tone?

I have been without the number now since midday (4 hours) and I thought it would have moved over by now. Is this normal, and how long am I expected to wait please?

Have you tried switching the phone off completely, leave it a couple of minutes then switch it back on?

Which one, the new one or the old one?

I've tried the new one but still no luck sadly.
