Android pie

Hi all ....bit new to this but has anybody bricked their phone updating to android pie....mine turned on but had no screen apart from the s8+ at the beginning so I took it in to be looked at and now there's nothing ....no flashing lights and no haptic feedback....any advice

Have you tried booting the phone into recovery mode. Vol down and power button at the same time.
