Pay as you Go account for occasional use

I have Plusnet Broadband, Home Phone, and Mobile accounts. My wife makes occasional use of a basic Samsung mobile  (currently with O2 Pay as you Go). Is there a comparable Pay as you Go account available from Plusnet?

In a word , No.

I use Giffgaff, which also runs on the O2 network. This can be used as a Pay as you Go, be the calls etc relatively expensive when used. If you are going on holiday etc. you can take what they call a Goodybag to give you cheap calls, texts and data for just one month, after which it reverts to pay as you go. To keep the service alive you have to use it just once every 6 months, they email you if necessary to remind you.
