No caller ID after 5 days

Why have we had to wait for 5 days for caller ID?
And why have we received no confirmation re an engineers visit on 6th November?
This follows a previous appointment which was cancelled by BT without notice to us.

I see you contacted one of my colleagues this morning, did they manage to sort everything for you?
