FTTP LUMS fault at local exchange

Can anyone tell me what LUMS stands for. OpenReach have been telling us that there is a LUMS fault at our local exchange which is not letting the fibre modem connect.
Your help desk is baffled by this acronym!

Looks like this has been resolved for you now? Sorry that I didn't respond to your PM.

Re: FTTP LUMS fault at local exchange

Matty, all is great here today. Just configured the Airport Express on PlusNet and added in my other Airports!
Found this website which lists a vast number of BT acronyms and defines LLUMS

Hope everyone here will find this a useful asset.
Once again thanks for you and your colleagues patience during the setup. Feel free to contact if you need any data for the trial.
Kind regards Peter Trinder

Re: FTTP LUMS fault at local exchange

One thing was I had to uncheck IPv4 in the Apple AirPort Extreme setup. The Airport Utility flagged this up as a problem and there was a simple switch to disable it. Then I got green lights all around.
