Hi,
I usually obtain speeds of 37mb down and 6mb up with absolutely no problems or line dropping, 4 years and I have had no problems.
Since last week my speed has decreased substantially, to the point where at times my connection is unusable eg 1.67mb down and 0.1mb up with the line dropping frequently.
I have raised a ticket but there seems to be no action or response taking place, there are no updates when I view the ticket.
I have carried out all of the checks and tests that are recommended and all seems to be fine.
Can anyone either advise me as to the procedure eg what happens next? what do I do? etc or escalate the ticket.

Hi,
Ten days since my original problem report, line still dropping, speeds still ridiculously slow..
Five days since I replied to your request for engineer timeslots, I still haven't had any reply or update as to if or when an engineer will visit.
Can I please get some movement with this problem?

Hi
Engineer visited yesterday.
He replaced the line from my main socket to the outside soffit and also replaced the main socket with what I think is called a VDSL faceplate.
It was still slow yesterday, with no improvement.
I've just checked the router and it states it's been connected for nearly 3 hours and the speeds seem to be closer to what I used to obtain, although still slower.

I am going to keep an eye on it for the next few days, for reliability and speed but I don't want to click that 'fixed' button yet.

Line and speeds have been stable since 2nd August.
