No internet access through Plus Net

Monday 6th couldn't access internet, kept getting a message that my laptop was missing some protocol, but then tried other devices, tablet and phone and they wouldn't work either. Reset my router by turning it off and on and using the reset 'hole'.....nothing. Finally tried searching for other Wifis and found a BT unsecure one and am able to get online, so I assume the issue is with Plus Net. Even took the Broadband cable out of the Wifi router and put in my laptop....still no connection. What is going on?
