@Mads Thanks for doing that.
I am still stuck at a lower sync rate though. Must be DLM. Will have to leave the line to settle now after all the disconnects.
Cheers.

The new router has my line a lot more stable thank you. Noise Margin is rock solid.
However DLM is still throttling me. How long before it resets please.
Cheers.

Hey @Simonsimps,
I'm glad to hear the line is stabilizing and working correctly, everything looks spot on this side in regards to speed etc. Essentially your line is stabilised due to DLM, if you are still having trouble I would suggest connecting a device to the router via an Ethernet cable (if you haven't already) and monitor the connection to see if that makes a difference for you.
Thanks.

@Mads Thanks for the reply.
I am connected to the router via an ethernet cable and always have been.
I have ran tests on the cable and it's fine and is only 2 months old.
Last time this happened DLM was stuck and I had to have an openreach guy to reset from my house. Which instantly solved the problem.
My line is constantly monitored by Routerstats. I have records back 3 years. I will see how it goes but I think its stuck again.
Cheers.

Been away for a wedding since Thursday afternoon. Just got back to find the router restarted whilst we were away. Reason Watchdog reset ????...

16:21:54, 19 Jul. | ( 17.160000) Boot reason: watchdog reset (cause: 0x3 |
A quick google search results in various post on your forums indicating a faulty router and various other things.
I have my PC, Humax and a Sony Bluray player plugged in to the ethernet ports but everything has been off the whole time we were away.
The router is in a well ventilated area.
Hope this is not messing up me trying to reset my DLM ?? Lost some more Upload speed again too

Hi @ Simonsimps,
Thanks for getting in touch, I appreciate your query.
I'm sure the issue has been causing you concern however it's unlikely to be something to worry about.
With your devices being turned off whilst you were away I'm just wondering whether this was just a refresh perhaps brought on by a lack of traffic, it doesn't look like there's any obvious pattern and I can't associate it with any firmware update. Your connection also appears fine here.
I'd suggest you reboot the router and then monitor it for a while to see if there's a repeat of the issue.
Let us know how that goes.
Thanks - LF

This is getting silly now. If there is nothing wrong with my line, please explain this to me.
It's getting worse. This is from my WIRED connection so nothing at all to do with WIFI.
How can I get a engineer to reset DLM please ?

Also, I know when my line is fine because my ping to the bbc is 10ms not this...

Hi @Simonsimps,
Thanks for getting in touch, I appreciate your query.
I'm sorry that your speeds are causing you concern. We'll need to do some troubleshooting to try and narrow down the cause of the fault. I'd recommend starting with basic checks here. If these checks don't resolve the problem, the next step would be to see if you can stabilise the connection by plugging your router directly to the test socket, this is under the faceplate of your master socket.
This rules out internal wiring, face plates and extension sockets as being the cause.
Let us know how that goes.
Thanks - LF

My line is finally stable again and everything is back to normal.
Except now the 5Ghz wifi has stopped working. It IS separated from the 2.4Ghz with its own SSID
I also tried changing channel on the band but does not work. My Chromecasts are on that channel so I need it working for the kids.
All devices say "Connected, No Internet"
I restarted the router yesterday and that fixed it but it's stopped working again today and I don't want to keep having to restart the router to fix it.
From reading other related posts the router may be broken.
Can anyone suggest anything please. Never had this happen before.
Cheers.

Thanks for your post, @Simonsimps.
As the father to a 9yr old, I totally understand the hassle caused when they can't get online!
I'm in complete agreement with regards the router and so have just dispatched a brand new one which will be delivered within the next 3-5 working days.
Please let me know here how you get on with it.
