Hi all
First time poster.
I’ve just received from Amazon a Draytek Vigor 130 VDSL2/ADSL2/2+ Modem. I got this because I’ve set a Plex server up and remote access isn’t working - I use Google WiFi so I believe there’s double NAT’ing going on and I can’t turn it off on the Plusnet hub or on Google WiFi.

As far as I was aware I didn’t need a router for this and it would just connect to the socket and work.
It isn’t.
So, a couple,of questions please
- Do I need a router?
- Is it not connecting because there’s nowhere to add in your Plusnet account details?
If it’s failing because of the second question, is there a way to add your credentials in anywhere because I can’t find it.

According to the Draytek web site you'll need a router. See the pic here...

You'll need to set the Google WiFi wan settings to PPPoE and enter your Plusnet username and password

Ok then, as @MisterW says you'll need to set it up for PPPoE.
