Wrong amount on reward card?

Hi. When i signed up for my full fiber broadband one of the perks was a £75 reward card. It's arrived but when i activated the card the balance is showing as £50. I contacted the plusnet reward card people who advised that the card is sent directly to them by BT? Anyone know why I have the wrong amount and if there's anything I can do about it?

@APrice83 HI there, 

 

I've taken a look into your account to check the promotional offers that were applied on your sign-up with us. Looks to be the offer has been marked down as a £50 reward card. 

 

When you signed up with us did you do it straight through our website? or were you looking on a comparison site that then took you through to our website? 

 

Also this one's a longshot, if you happen to have any screenshot proof that it definitely was £75 i would be able to escalate this. Understandably i wouldn't imagine during your sign up you felt the need to screenshot this info but thought i'd ask on the off chance.

Hi

I signed up through Topcashback compare but unfortunately I didn’t take a screenshot of the reward offered. Like you said, I didn’t feel the need as I thought it would be an automated thing at your end 😞

@APrice83 Thank you for getting back in touch with us, I'm sorry to hear you have received the card with a different amount than expected.

 

I have reviewed the account and I can confirm that the offer amount is showing as £50, generally the reward cards with a higher amount are issued when customers sign up with a Full Fibre 500 or Full Fibre 900 package. 

 

Without a screenshot is a little difficult to assess where things have gone wrong, can I ask whether you have contacted Topcashback support team, as they may have a little more insight into this.
