VOIP Provider - Calling Package

Hi,
Looking for a provider that has an unlimited call package included/optional extra.
Must include 01/02/03 numbers and mobiles, all UK based. Also the CLI must be able to be changed.

Currently using Sipgate basic with a call package but it appears to be running at around £25 pm.
It is for a business

TIA

Re: VOIP Provider - Calling Package

I use localphone https://www.localphone.com/prices for outgoing calls on the office pbx.

I did consider a supplier with a plan, but in the end localphones rates are so cheap , we just run it on a payg basis adding credit as and when it runs low.

Also the CLI must be able to be changed.

Not sure exactly what you need here ? localphone do allow you to register a CLI to be used for outgoing calls , providing you can demonstrate owenrship of the number ( usually by responding to a call to the number )

@mystreet1  This is worth a look. https://www.virtuallandline.co.uk/ I currently pay £8.95 pcm on a monthly rolling contract. When I joined 18 months ago porting was free – don’t know at present.

It’s unlimited and doesn’t have the 1 hour restriction.

Re: VOIP Provider - Calling Package

@MisterW, quick question regarding localphone. Have you done any sums on payg or subscription payment. Looking at it, 800 minutes for £8.45 seems good as the call charge is only 1.1p/min. But payg is 0.6p/min for landline numbers and 1.2p/min for mobile, so payg is better.

@mystreet1 in a word , no. I don't think subscriptions were on offer when I initially got Localphone, either at home or in the office.

TBH at home I make very few outgoing calls via localphone, those that I do are to family who also have a localphone account, so the calls are free!.

In the office I'm not sure of the ratio of calls to mobiles as against landlines, maybe I should have a look ? From looking at the subscription rates , there'd have to be a high ratio of mobile vs landline to make subscription pay.

Re: VOIP Provider - Calling Package

Fix

@mystreet1 just looked at some previous Localphone invoices for the office ( its a small office with 5 people ).

The ratio of mobile to landline looks about 1:1 , monthly call duration totals of between 2 1/2 to 4 hrs. Most bills are < £2/month with one at £3.

Voipfone unlimited is £14pm. I use them for incoming only.

Re: VOIP Provider - Calling Package

Does unlimited mean that you can make unlimited calls at no extra charge?  If so, what's the point of paying for unlimited if you only use it for incoming calls?

I posted the unlimited package price as an example. I use a cheaper package with no included calls as this suits our needs.
