Sorry, I'm mumbling again. What I mean is http or https will work under the appropriate conditions. Please consider the above corrected to http(s). If you select "Use a single directory for housing SSL and non-SSL content" in the Plesk panel, you can use both on httpdocs content, otherwise it's http for httpdocs and https for httpsdocs. You can also swap in and out of SSL mid session. All I mean is, you can use SSL if you want to protect your session passwords (and don't mind the lack of certification - but that's another topic ).

Yep, see what you mean.
My site is in the httpdocs directory so that makes sense.
BTW, I spent a good few hours yesterday on the transition of my site to the new platform and for the benefit of others, the only major recoding necessary form a php version point of view is the use of $_GET and $_POST (In my website anyway) where previously you didn't need to use this
