Fttc question

Since we have joined Plusnet many years ago we have had ADSL with the line rental separately with BT. If we upgrade to fttc with Plusnet with line rental included, would we need to contact BT to cancel line rental or is that done behind the scenes by Plusnet?.

Thanks.

@kidgorgeous

I think that Plusnet will handle it but to get a definite answer and the best deal ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 during office hours.

Re: Fttc question

Hi there,

If you upgrade to FTTC with us, we'll tell BT you're leaving and we'll transfer your home phone line across to us.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Fttc question

@kidgorgeous

You might be liable for early termination fees on your phone service unless PlusNet can do you a deal with BT.

Have you checked to see what's available for your address. You can do so here

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

FTTC is known as VDSL. If by chance you have WBC FTTP showing then that adds a new dimension to things.
