Domain name expired and hasn't been renewed

Hello. I have a legacy domain name that was free issue from Madasafish in 2005 that was taken over by Plusnet in 2015. According to Nominet, the domain (crout.me.uk) expired on 06/07/2025 and hasn't been renewed yet (it's usually done the week before the expiry date).

Would it be possible for a superuser to check if this is an oversight or if they could raise a ticket on my behalf? My aged (non-techy) parents rely on this domain for their email and when Plusnet didn't renew the domain a few years ago, they lost their email access for three weeks after the 30 day grace period.

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
