Cant log in to upload to webspace

Doesn't look like the same issue from here Paul, I've been able to log in without problems.
It's worth noting that on PAYG dial-up accounts you can't FTP to the webspace from outside the plusnet network.

Hi Chris, thanks for trying to help. Any ideas why I'm still getting error messages below?
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Could not connect to server
Have tried with Filezilla and IE but can't seem to login to upload???

Not sure TBH, on your account type this error normally appears when trying to upload from outside the Plusnet network.

Also have problems logging on to ftp.
Have double checked also settings ... looks like I could do with a kick .... errm no kick the webspace ftp thingy instead..

Have you tried a different FTP client?
What happens when you try typing ftp ftp.plus.net from a command prompt?

Yes, I get a similar error when using a different ftp client.
However, when I try ftp://ftp.plus.net within firefox, I connect successfully. :L

Just to sate my curiosity, can you:
Go to Start->Run, type in CMD and hit enter
type:  tracert ftp.plus.net
and post the results?

i seem to have the same problem, i have tried using ftp prog and ie but cant seem to log in to webspace..
