Re: wheres THN-AG2 gone

Hmmm
Things appear to be happening with thn-ag2.
I am not on Tiscali LLU, no sign of 21 cn at my small town exchange but I now appear to be connected to thn-ag2  Shocked

Re: wheres THN-AG2 gone

We routed some traffic for one of the other gateways through THN-AG2 yesterday I believe due to an issue on that gateway. I'll double check when networks are back in tomorrow morning.

Re: wheres THN-AG2 gone

I'll chase that up now. As Chris has alluded to, we had a problem with pcl-ag03 that caused it to stop accepting new sessions. To prevent this from causing problems over the weekend we tunnelled traffic for this central to thn-ag2 instead.

Bob, while you're at it, was there anything going on with thn-ag3 on Friday afternoon after around 3pm? I use a streaming data service that suddenly became very unstable (and of course they insist it wasn't anything to do with their end).

Re: wheres THN-AG2 gone

@nozzer, not with thn-ag3 but there were problems with the tunnelled traffic that was going through thn-ag2. We identified a couple of rogue network interfaces this morning that were not configured to handle our traffic prioritisation correctly. AIUI almost all traffic was getting marked as Titanium which really wouldn't have been helping.
Regarding the graph, it was removed because there was no longer any point in it.
It was only servicing ADSL2+ and Tiscali LLU customers. We no longer have any Tiscali LLU customers and the packet drop graphing doesn't work for the 21CN users anyway. Whilst we have 20CN traffic passing through the gateway now, that's only intended as a temporary measure until we get things sorted with pcl-ag03.
