On switching on my pc it shows that I am not connected to PlusNet , looking in my devices and printers it shows that I am connected to bbc internet altho I have necer approached them , I then click on : seeking a new site :and obviously then click on my chosen site being PlusNet , I then have no problem until I switch on my pc again
and I am then reconnected . ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON . It is most concerning for a oap in his late 70 s HELP

Are you referring to which website your browser goes to when you first open it?
If so, it's possible your choice of 'home page' has changed for some reason - not too difficult to change (it's via Tools > Internet Options in the Internet Explorer browser.)

When the OP says Devices and Printers it makes me think maybe his wifi has connected to an unsecured network with SSID bbc internet. To the OP, are you using wifi ? what is your local wifi network known as ? (what should you see in devices and printers)
