Have you tried a different ethernet cable for the Humax as if the PC is able to get iPlayer it may not be the router that is faulty.....could be wrong though.
Or is it possible for you to try something else on the end of the cable to the Humax such as a laptop or your computer?

OK.
FIRST you need to apply the DHCP setting then wait. Ideally exit the menus, turn off the box for a minute or so then back on and leave it a few minutes more.
If you can turn off the router at the same time even better.
Then check in the Network settings and see if it has been allocated an IP address.
If it has it should work, if not further troubleshooting is required. This needs to be done SYSTEMATICALLY.
It could for example be the Humax box, the cable, the port on the router, the router core or something else.

Quote from: suffolkcindy Was the ethernet cable.
And almost certainly DHCP.
Always tricky when there's 2 things wrong.
And infinitely more so when one "party" just blames the other.
