Why o Why is my broadband speed so low

Did another test at these settings and my speed is even slower

    Your DSL connection rate: 3040 kbps(DOWN-STREAM),  448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
    IP profile for your line is - 1750 kbps
    Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1553 kbps

it can take about 3 days for the IPprofile to increase and 75 minutes to reduce.
Do you ever feel the odds are not in your favour - p.s. the BT test actual speed test results are notoriously flaky but those look to be within the range I would expect

Well I'm still not with any increase in my speed and now to top it all I can't update my Frontpage webpages as the PN frontpage servers have problem,s so for over a week I can't change anything on my site and it is not resolved yet.  Plus Net is just sickening me off .
