I've got it currently setup like this
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 888 / 4.184
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12,5 / 19,0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 23,5 / 45,0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 12,0 / 13,5
Also... i can't seem to sync above 888/4100-4300 ish after i got shot down to the 135 profile and back to normal again i used to get 1060-1109/4300-4800 sync.

Hi KyleS,
It is a very fine line between ADSL1 and ADSL2+ at around 4000k, heads or tails really!

I mean actual G992.3 and G.992.5 not G992.1 (adsl1)
As i've switched between them both and theres no different in sync, throughput or ping for some reason seems a bit strange since when i've switched between then before theres always a decent difference between sync 500kbps ish

That's more to the point. Ideal target SNR is around 6.0db and yours is either a high 12db or a low 15db. Each 3db increment can shave around 800Kbps off of your sync speed.
Plug your router directly into the test socket and repost the stats from your router - I'm interested to see if there is any difference.

Given the previous problems reported (135Kbs profile) it looks like the exchange has fixed the min SNR to 12 or 15dB causing a loss of sync. However, it could mean the line is noisy and may not handle ADSL2+ and switching back to ADSL1 (or even trying ADSL2) may help. Until the min SNR is removed you won't see much improvement anyway whatever you do.

Nearly no difference
DSL Type: G.992.3 annex A (i did try 992.5 aswell)
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 888 / 4.504 (so close to that 4mbps profile also probably better sync due to the time of day)
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0,00 / 0,00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12,5 / 19,0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 23,5 / 45,5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 12,5 / 12,5
But yeah there was a time when my SNR would settle to like 9db before this carry on with the 135k profile so i think Peter Vaughan may be right about the fixed SNR.
Could ms pilson set a 9db target for me line possibly?
