Are these with the connection into the face of the master socket, or with it into the test socket accessed by removing the lower part of the faceplate (assuming it is a new type master socket)?
The latter method disconnects internal wiring so eliminating any effect from that.
The results you have suggest you have a noisy line which has driven sync speed down to only 1024kbps to achieve the target 6db noise margin, and that's already being eaten into.
