Also if you query ns60.1and1.co.uk for the domain it doesn't return any answer. This doesn't look like Plusnet's problem!

As a Heart Internet customer he can login to his account and from the Manage Domain Names menu option change the nameservers himself. Heart's nameservers will already appear and all is needed is to select them and click the change button.
