Re: Product Change

Hi again ,instead of making a new thread just wondering what people think of this.
My internet just went off for 5-10mins didnt touch nothing at all . Back on now.
But in my router it says this

Test the connection to your local network
Test your Ethernet Connection: PASS
Test your Wireless Connection: DOWN

Test the connection to your ADSL service provider
Test ADSL Synchronization: PASS
Test ATM OAM F5 segment ping: FAIL
Test ATM OAM F5 end-to-end ping: FAIL

Test the connection to your Internet service provider
Test PPP server connection: PASS
Test authentication with ISP: PASS
Test the assigned IP address: PASS
Ping default gateway: PASS

Where it says fail it has never said that before my dissconnection before but now its saying fail, no speed problems at all just wondering whats it means is it bad or good?
Thanks

Re: Product Change

Did you get an email telling you that you were being migrated to the 21CN Network by any chance.
I've not seen the data from a 21CN connection yet - but there may be a clue in the fact that the OAM (Optical Adddrop Mux)  tests fail, but the Link still works?

Re: Product Change

Hi there,
You've been moved to 21CN today (we mailed you about this on the 25th). Have your sync and attenuation speeds changed at all?

Re: Product Change

21CN is the next generation network. You can read more about this here.
What are your current router stats?

Re: Product Change

Y2J: ADSL2+ means you are now on 21CN
If you have no issues over the next few days and your off-peak (daytime) speeds are as good or better than they were before, you could ask for your upload speed to be uncapped if you would find faster uploads useful.
