Poor speed since day one?

Speed has been around 300kbps since day one, no change?

Hi @BeeBee, I am sorry to hear this.

 

I've tested your line and the speed was in sync a lot lower than we would expect and a high resistance imbalance is being detected, could you please connect your router to the test socket as shown here. 

 

Once done so, are you able to complete the fault troubleshooter you started here and let us know once done so we can continue to investigate for you.

Now connected to test socket, but I only have the plusnet router so I can't connect a different one? I'd really like to avoid incurring engineer costs!
What should I do?

Your router is currently within its warranty period so there'll be no charge for the visit if the router is determined to be the cause of this problem.
