Have you tried a reboot or a hard reset of the router to see if it still presents itself ?
Is this on the PN TG582n ?

The problem sorted its self out with a page refresh and it took me to the main router page with the options, im just curious as to why a superfish.com link was provided within the router login as you would be. Do the staff read this section?

One of the mods will probably move it to Broadband and Routers, which would seem to be appropriate.

Hmmmm!
Not sure but sounds like you may have picked up an infection afteral I surmise you are referring to the web browser page to access the Router GUI
I found this https://www.google.co.uk/#q=superfish.com+virus and it does look like if you clicked on a link in the browser whilst the network connection was down one might have just gotten a page of script???
Were I in your shoes I would immediately start a thorough scan with whatever anti virus, anti Malware etc you are using routinely!
Hope you can sort it AOK?

First thanks to oldjim for moving this i missed the router thread.
@routefinder - I already know about superfish and the possibility of a virus and i admit i have not done a check on my computer, main reason being it was on the router pages which last time i checked isn;t my computer. Also, all the links even the one i copied and pasted are removed by my adblocker AdGuard, the only reason i saw it this time is because it detected that i was accessing my router so does not filter the router pages.
I shall however run a quick scan and see what i find with hitman, adwcleaner and malwarebytes. But ive had nothing from Kaspersky and rarly get infections even from the amount of dodgy sites i visit.
Edit:
ADWCleaner : Clean
Malwarebytes: Clean
