Plusnet and BT core network issues - high to total packet loss

Since yesterday I have been experiencing issues with my broadband connection.

Today I have been running a trace on the routes though to bbc.co.uk and have observed issues across the core network.

I called to report an issue, however the test identified a poor connection at the cabinet which may reduce the speed or cause dropping it is in addition to the MAJOR issues the traces above point to. In those I am clearly connected and traffic is either being partially dropped or failing to route in the Plus Net and BT networks.

@97ReBrkkFRCf welcome to the forums.

Are you testing using a wired or wireless connection? It really should be wired.

Looking at your MTR output you have 37.9% lost packets to you default gateway your Hub 192.168.1.254

Yep, there's huge loss between the machine you're running MTR on and your router. That has nothing to do with the network beyond.
