Plusnet Won't Give Me Same Deal Or Better For Contract Renewel

My 18 month Unlimited Broadband contract expires next month, just called up to see about a new deal, guy wanted to increase my bill.

I currently pay £19.99, he offered same package for £22.50!

I see new customers are getting the same for £18.99 plus a debit card.....hmm....not happy at all Sad

I've been with Plusnet for a long time, surely you can match my current contract at least.

Ring back, select the 'I'm thinking of leaving' options. Advise the agent that Post Office is offering the same service for £15.90 per month and ask for it to be matched. You may get a decent deal. There's no point in quoting the Plusnet new customer deals.

Re: Plusnet Won't Give Me Same Deal Or Better For Contract Renewel

Hi @Glenn, thanks for your post.

We're sincerely sorry to hear that what you were offered wasn't what you'd expected.

As @Baldrick1 suggests, I'd certainly recommend calling our Customer Options Team to renegotiate your deal, although I can't guarantee what would be offered.

They are contactable directly on 0800 013 2632 and they are open between the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 20:00
Saturday: 09:00 - 19:00
Sunday: 09:00 - 18:00

If you need any further help, please don't hesitate to get back in touch.

@Baldrick1 and @OskarPapa Thanks for your help, just called them and they agreed to match the post office deal.

So £15.90 unlimited broadband with line rental for 12 months. Smiley

(They wouldn't offer the same contract I'm currently on, £19.99 for 18 months)
