How to upgrade to MaxDSL

Hi,
We are currently on 512k because when the ADSL line was connected  few years ago that's all they said we could get, being 3km from the exchange.
I checked on Broadband Genie yesterday and it checked the line and said we ought to be able to get 2.4Mb.
So, I searched high and low on the PlusNet site to see how we could upgrade, but have had to give up.
Anyone out there know how we can do this please?
I understand by requesting to upgrade a line test will take place over 10 days to see how fast the line should work, or have I got it wrong? Also, does it cost extra?
Thanks.

Re: How to upgrade to MaxDSL

Just visit http://max.plus.net and put the request in there. Alternatively, if you want, I'll go place the order manually for you Cheesy

Thanks Chris
Does it cost us more on top of our normal contract?
Thanks.

Nigel,
It's a free upgrade that won't affect your subscription fees.

That's great. I've visited the site and clicked the form.
That was easy!
Many thanks.

I'll go place it now for you Cheesy
It should complete tomorrow morning and then your line will take around 10 days to find it's highest stable speed.

Getting just a little excited (but then I don't get out much).

We feel your pain Smiley
Should be good to go for tomorrow morning.  Might be an idea to switch your router off when you go to bed tonight and then turn on in the morning for optimal results.

Re: How to upgrade to MaxDSL

While I don't actually sleep in the office, I'll turn it off at 5:30pm and back on again in the morning.
Thanks for that.
