I went into the dsl-300G+ menu, which is modem (not the router) and found this information. Is this what I'm looking for? That explains a lot - the router is the DL-624 which doesn't have ADSL stats because it doesn't have an ADSL modem - that's over in the DSL-300G. It looks like you have got the stats there and the good news is that you don't have to worry about upgrading - because you appear to have been upgraded already. You've got a downstream sync of 5312Kbs, which should be good for a 4500 profile. That upload speed looks odd though - what type of account are you on - is it a business account?
Hi Curati, I think I might have found out what the problem with your speed may have been. You are on a Tiscali LLU product, but our system, for whatever reason, had you down as being on a BT product, hence your speeds being capped to 2000Kbps, because it didn't know otherwise. so now I've told it that you're on the LLU product and then I've bumped up your profiled speed. Can you try rebooting your hardware for me and seeing if you now manage to get a better throughput speed?
Hi. In answer to questions, I'm not on a business account, just the usual 14.99 a month. I did a speed test with the plusnet speed tester and got 2635.9 kbps which is faster than before. Not quite upto 4.5 mbps but it's probably a busy time right now. Thanks for the help
