Does anyone know if G.DMT is ok to use on 21CN, if so why would it have dropped my connection and not let me connect with G.DMT again, but ADSL2 connected fine.

How do you force a g.dmt connection on the Thomson 585 router?

you have to do it by telnet thats for sure.
am sure some one who telnets into theres often will connfirm if thats right
Quote start -> run
"telnet 192.168.1.254"
username <Administrator> unless youve changed it
password <your modem password - same one as the web interface>
"xdsl debug multimode config=g992.1_annex_a"
"saveall"
"exit"
to revert back to multimode use the following
>xdsl debug multimode config=t1.413issue2+g992.1_annex_a+g992.3_annex_a+g992.3_annex_m+g992.5_annex_a+g992.5_annex_m
